Very cool mountain. I guess it's solid granite.

Just getting started.

We also drove to Fredricksburg, where my Dad's cousin & his wife just built their retirement home. Pretty cool, although I don't know that Brett & I could retire so far away from stuff & not kill each other...This pic is the boys looking so thrilled to be in the car. It was a long day of driving. Then we went to Enchanted Rock. Also a very cool place to check out. We hiked up a ways, Jacob did very well. He was unsure when we first got there, & didn't want to get out of the car. As you can see from the pics, it's a bit intimidating. What he didn't realize, was that Mom & Nanny weren't hiking to the top, no matter what. Haha. Luke was of course climbing like a monkey, but even he started to get nervous. Ryan, Mr. I-have-no-fear, was making Brett & I a nervous wreck. So we got to the first sort of level, & Mom & I took the boys back down, so Brett & Dad could keep climbing to the top. Which they did, both huffing & puffing, but they made it. I took off our sock & shoes, so we could walk in the cold stream. As you can see, Ryan was naked & sitting in that cold water in no time.
