I woke up that Sat morning to find the boys very intently watching Gene fill & hang one of his many bird feeders. For those of you who don't know, Gene just retired from NASA, where he was an engineer. So, there was plenty of his "handy work" around for the boys to be amazed by. 
This rope was from the bird feeder, but Ryan decided that it was his. I believe we ended up bringing it home with us.
The fam on Gene & Lyn's deck. It was a beautiful view. We really had a wonderful time at their house, which was much needed after the week we had had. The boys were so happy to be back together that they crawled into beds after dinner & were asleep without a peep. The boys were also impressed with the (as Ryan says it) "honkybirds". Gene & Lyn have several hummingbird feeders up & the birds are all over the place. It really is cool.
