Just a quick blog, I think....

So the boys all started school & everyone is loving it! Luke is really struggling with this getting up early stuff though. The first day he said, "well I didn't know it was going to be this early!" Then last night he asked me how many more days before the weekend, since he now knows that's when he can sleep in. Ryan got sad the first few days when we dropped his brothers off & then left to take him to his school, but now it seems that everything goes off without a hitch! Well, other than me forgetting to set my alarm this morning, which I never do. Luckily, Jacob is an early riser & he somehow knew it was time to be up, so he came & woke me up, which he never does... That's what I call teamwork! Lol.
So I'm certainly having to get used to this change, but I'm obviously not complaining. I have a sub orientation Fri, & then I'll prob take another week to get everyone settled before subbing. It's not like I don't have a ton of things that I've been wanting to get to for the past 7 1/2 yrs to keep me busy! Lol. Plus, one of our tenants just broke her lease, so we have to get that house & pool cleaned up & put on the market. That should be fun. Other than that, we're just pretty much moving along. Business is picking up, thank goodness, the boys are happy, mom & dad are happy, life is good.

Just some quick funnies:

Ryan wanted water last night, so I took my big cup & filled it & handed it to him. He said, "Nooooo, this not for tiny kids!!"

We went to a fire convention on Sat (my FIL was here working it) & there was paramedic stuff there too. Actually, there was TONS of stuff, it was pretty cool really. Anyway, they had this apparatus, we'll call it, that was for pumping a patient's chest. Like on an ambulance or something, I assume. So this guy is demonstrating this thing for someone as we walk by. Jacob looks at it and says, "Oh, that can not feel good..."
