Well, it's been a while, so where do I start?
Jacob. He is doing soooo well this year in school. I can see such a gain in confidence. He's talking to his peers & teachers & I get the feeling he just feels like he fits in more. His Math skills are pretty good, his handwriting has come leaps & bounds, & he's even reading beginning books to Brett & I! He's also taking more responsibility for his homework, which is great. I'm very proud of him & I think he's proud of himself. He's going to be Harry Potter for Halloween.
Luke. This kid just LOVES Kindergarten, not that I'm suprised. He's a hard worker & wants to please his teacher, every teacher's dream! Lol. He learns more of his friends names every week & apparently tells one little girl that she looks beautiful every morning! He writes his first & last name all over everything & is very good at reminding me about school stuff. He is going to be Boba Fett for Halloween.
Ryan. I have to admit, I forget he's still just barely 3, although his behavior has become a pretty good reminder! Lol. He loves his school & is happy to go. There is a little girl with disabilities in his class & his teacher's say that he very much takes care of her. Her name is Isabelle, but he calls her "Disembell". He steps in front of her so she doesn't walk in mud & he takes leaves from her so she doesn't eat them. Sweet boy. He is going to be a Fireman for Halloween.
So life is moving right along. I know I've missed a few great stories over the past few weeks, but I'll try to remember some. One quick one about Dean, my friend Harmony's 5 yr old. We were in Austin this past weekend & Brett & I took all 5 boys to look at Lake Travis. I know, we're nuts, but Stan & Harmony graciously kept all 5 the night before so we could go to the UT game. We owed them, big time! They went to see Couples Retreat, which Brett & I saw Friday night. Hilarious!!! & a great marriage movie.... Anyway, Dean's in the very back of the car with the boys & says, "I don't live in this town." Luke asks him what town he lives in & he says, "America".
Well the boys are ready to go to Cici's for the school fundraiser night, so I'll try to get some stories together & post soon.
