me vs. the world

So having some frustrations with Jacob's school and late work and getting him to turn stuff in. Really hope I can get things on the right track with everyone so that I don't have to worry about it anymore. Everything else seems to have fallen into place, and Jacob seems generally happy. I meet with the director of Special Programs for the district on Wed, and really just want to get on her radar. I sort of know her, but want to just talk about Jacob and where we are with things. He likes going to the Psychologist every week, the washing of his hands seems to be getting better, not gone, but better. We started him on his anti-depressent so I'm eager to see results there, although it will be a few weeks before it settles into his system. I just love that boy so much, and I want to do everything in my power to help him be as successful as he can. His innapproiate levels have reached an all time high it seems, so I'm trying to work on that. I just keep telling myself that at least he doesn't do all of these things at school. Kyle's boyfriend was visiting this weekend, and Jacob realllly likes him, which is great, but also leads to him driving the guy nuts. Always in his face, trying to hug him and kiss him, and lately he's been trying to kiss and hug all kinds of people. He keeps talking about "gay" too, which is driving me nuts. I'm sure I'm noticing more stuff too because he used to be on the Ritalin, which took all of those behaviors away for a few hours, but it also took away his whole funny personality.
Ugh, guess I'm just feeling frustrated today. All I can do is keep chugging along and working on it one day at a time. I had to lay down the law with him yesterday and really explain that he could not just be up in Kyle's boyfriend's personal space like he was doing. It's innappropriate and it makes him uncomfortable, it would make anyone uncomfortable so he just cannot keep doing that to people. Maybe Monday morning needs to be my venting time, since I've just spent the whole weekend dealing with his behavior, lol.
We did have a nice weekend though. Brett & I went out to dinner with Kyle and her boyfriend on Friday night, and we all went to the Ft Worth Rodeo on Sat which was a lot of fun. I think I was the only one in our group of 8 that had ever been to a rodeo before, so it was fun to watch everyone's reaction. Yesterday we played golf, none of us well, but it was still a lot of fun. I got to try out my new pretty bag, 3 wood, metallic balls, and hot pink tees that Brett & Luke picked out for me for Christmas, so that was fun. I tell ya, it never gets old whacking the crap out of golf balls, very good to get out frustrations, lol. Especially when you are like me and you don't really care about your score. Then Ryan had an exciting indoor soccer game, they won 7-0. Felt bad for the other team though.

Ok, I do have homework due tonight and a "to do" list that seems to be growing instead of shrinking.
